Ordering
Which shops can I order from?
The app lists the shops we buy from most often, such as Pick n Pay, Shoprite and KFC. Choose Another shop to name any other shop in Maseru, with the mall or street it is on. If we cannot buy there, we cancel the order and tell you why before anything is bought.
How should I write my list?
One item per line, with the brand and size, and a quantity. Use the note under each item for what to buy if it is out of stock, or anything the shopper should know, such as ripe or green bananas.
Can I change an order after placing it?
Cancel it in the app and place a new one while it still shows Order placed. Once the shopper has started, email us with the order number and we will do what we can.
Is there anything you will not buy?
Alcohol, tobacco, medicines that need a prescription, and anything a shop may only sell to the buyer in person.
Paying
How much will I pay?
The till price of your items plus the delivery fee for your distance from the shop, from M 35 within 5 km. The app shows the exact amount once the shopper has paid at the till, before the order leaves the shop.
How do I pay?
In cash to the courier when your order arrives. M-Pesa and EcoCash in the app will be switched on once Doorstep's own merchant accounts are open, and the app will show them when they are.
Something was missing or wrong. What happens now?
Write to support@softserve.co.ls with the order number within 48 hours of delivery. We will refund the item or put it right.
Delivery
Where do you deliver?
Maseru and the surrounding villages. Over 25 km from the shop, the fee is M 80 plus M 3 for each extra kilometre.
How will the courier find me?
From the address and landmark you give, and the location pin if you tap Use my location when ordering. The courier has your phone number and will call if they need directions.
Who are the couriers?
Drivers on Leeto, the ride and delivery network run by Softserve Digital Solutions. Leeto reviews each driver's identity documents before approving them. To deliver yourself, sign up in the Leeto Driver app; see leeto.co.ls.
Your account
How do I sign in?
With your Apple account on an iPhone, your Google account, or an email address and password. If you forget the password, tap Forgot your password on the email sign-in screen and we will email you a code.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open Account and tap Delete account. The account deletion page explains what is deleted and how to ask by email instead.
